Vitamix 7500 Important Features
The G-Series, short for “Next-Generation”,offers Vitamix’s most powerful engine and a unique design that reduces engine noise by up to 40% compared to previous Vitamix models.
The G series product line was introduced in 2013 and the 7500 is the basic model. The other models from the G series are the more expensive 750 and 780 that offer more technological features.
The powerful 2.2 hp engine of the 7500 is a step higher than the older models that use 2 hp engine. The G-Series models also have a new airflow and an internal cooling system to reduce noise and overheating.
In addition to the new slim design, the most visible difference of the blenders from the 7500 and the G-series is the wide container with low profile. Vitamix mixers are generally recognized for the high narrow containers that work well, but prevent the mixer from fitting under a kitchen cabinet. The low profile container from the G-series is approximately 3 inches shorter and provides easy storage under a cabinet.
The Vitamix 7500 comes with a 64 oz package, but is also compatible with the following containers: container with a capacity of 32oz, 48oz and 32oz with dry granules. It also comes with a tamper, a Getting Started DVD and a professional Vitamix recipe book.

Performance:Vitamix 7500 Review
The 7500 is equipped with an incredibly powerful 2.2 HP engine. It is sufficient power for every mixing task. It is the same engine used on the more expensive Vitamix Pro 750, which is the best rated blender by Consumer Reports. Thanks to the internal design of the G-series, this engine can also function longer without overheating.
A distinctive aspect of Vitamix engines is that they have a high torque and a wide speed range. The real range in speeds is one of the key features of Vitamix blenders compared to other powerful blender brands. The distinct range from low to high is really important if you do not want to puree everything that you put in the blender.
Controls:Vitamix 7500 Review
The 7500 uses Vitamix’s popular 10-step variable speed adjustment knob. The dial on the 7500 is larger than older models and is easier to turn.
There are no preset mixing settings on the 7500, but there is a pulse function that not only helps during the cleaning process, but also when preparing food, where you do not want to purée the ingredients. There is also an on / off main switch on the right.

Vitamix 7500 Review:What is it best for
The Vitamix 7500 can be used for a wide range of kitchen tasks, such as mixing, mixing, chopping, mashing, making hot soups and, of course, the most popular way to use it, making smoothies.
Regardless of the density of the ingredients (obviously no bones allowed) the 7500 does an efficient job quickly and combines everything in a matter of seconds.
In combination with the wider containers with a low profile, the 7500 does particularly well with tasks such as making nut butter, crushing ice cream and mixing thick recipes.
Do you need presets?
Many people wonder if it is worth paying more for a Vitamix model with preset mixing programs. It is important to note that the presets are only timed blending programs and do not adjust for what or how much you mix.
The presets can be useful if you just follow a recipe for certain mixing tasks where you want to get your hands off. On the other hand, the presets are designed for specific container sizes and volumes of ingredients, so they are not as useful when you make changes to the recipe or container size.
In general, it comes down to personal preference. Presets can be useful for some tasks, but you pay more to have them. They are not necessary and many consumers do fine without them.
Vitamix 7500 Demonstration
Vitamix 7500 blender:The Vitamix 7500 is the most affordable Vitamix model in the G-series and is a nice update for the popular product line of the C-series. It is an excellent choice if you want the best features of the new Vitamix design and do not want to pay for the extra costs of preset mixing programs and digital technology functions.
The 7500 has easy-to-use controls with the classic variable speed regulator from Vitamix. It is quieter than older Vitamix mixers and uses the new low-profile containers. Comes with Vitamix’s amazing 7-year full coverage guarantee.
Cons: the 7500 does not offer preset blending functions (presets are only available on models G-series 750 and 780) that some people like. The 64oz low profile container supplied with the Vitamix 7500 may have difficulty mixing small quantities compared to the traditional large Vitamix 64oz container.
General conclusion:The Vitamix 7500 is an excellent model and one of our favorite Vitamix models.
The 7500 is high in multiple independent mixing tests and has consistently very high user reviews at top retailers such as QVC, Costco and Amazon.
The only small downside is that the 64oz low-profile containers do not mix small amounts as well as the traditional long Vitamix containers, so maybe you should buy a smaller container of 32oz or 48oz in the future if you find yourself making small batches.
What is the Vitamix 7500 blender super package?
The Vitamix 7500 Super Package is made for Costco. It comes with the standard 7500 blender with 64oz low-profile container but adds in a 32oz containers with dry granules and two 20oz containers to go.

Blenders are used to make delicious smoothies, soups, juices, etc. If you do not yet know blender recipes, you may want to read the Vitamix Recipe Book. The Vitamix Recipe Book shows 250 different recipes. The recipes are divided over different food categories. For example: breakfast and brunch, soups and side dishes, desserts and drinks.
First we take an individualistic look at both the fast blenders. Then we will compare the two blenders and look at the similarities and differences.
Vitamix 7500 vs other Models(blenders)
Vitamix 300 vs 7500
The Vitamix Pro 300 is the same blender as the Vitamix 7500, but the Pro 300 comes with a larger cookbook called “Create”. Despite being the same blender, the 7500 sometimes costs a little less.
Vitamix 5200 vs 7500
The Vitamix 5200 is the basic model of the C-series line with the same controls as the 7500. The 5200 has a slightly weaker engine than the 7500, but the performance is comparable between the two models because of the different containers.
The 5200 uses the narrow high jug of the C-series and can therefore process smaller quantities better than the wide, low-profile containers of the 7500. Although the broader base of the low-profile containers allows better chopping of food processing. and to execute.
The 7500 is slightly quieter with the new basic model and is a nice update for the 5200 if you prefer the broader containers with a low profile. The only other difference is that the speed dial on the 7500 is bigger and a little easier to turn than the dial on the 5200.
Generally both are great models. The different pots each have their own specific advantages, but each blender offers comparable performance. The 7500 costs more because it has the newer design and functions.
Vitamix 5300 vs 7500
The 5300 is a hybrid model, because it is built on the basis of the C-series, but the new 2.2 hp engine used on the G-series models.
Both models use the same G-series low-profile wide container with a 4-inch knife. The performance is very similar between the two models, but the main difference is that the 7500 is built on the new basis of Gseries with the new airflow functions for improved cooling and noise reduction.
When choosing the Vitamix 5300 vs 7500, most people would simply choose the updated 7500. See our Vitamix 5300 test for more details.
Vitamix 6300 vs 7500
The Vitamix 6300 is the C-series 5200 blender with 3 pre-set mixing programs. Refer to the above equation of 5200 and 7500 for more information.checkout our full Vitamix 6300 vs 7500 review here
The 6300 is decent if you like the ever popular C-series 5200 with high container and want presets. See our Vitamix 6300 test for more information.
Vitamix 6500 vs 7500
The 6500 is the same as the 5300, but adds in 3 pre-set mixing programs. See above the comparison Vitamix 5300 vs 7500 for more details.
Like the 5300 equation above, the 6500 is a hybrid model built on the basis of the C series but using a more powerful engine from the G series. The 6500 adds to the controls in 3 pre-set mixing programs.
Both the 7500 and the 6500 use the same wide containers with low profile. The mixing performance is comparable between the two models.
When comparing the two models, most people simply choose the 7500 over 6500 to get the new G-Series design and noise reduction. For prices, the 7500 is only slightly more than the 6500.
If you want the 7500 pre-set blending functions such as the 6500, you get the G-series Vitamix 750 (see equation below).
Vitamix 750 vs 7500
The Vitamix 750 and 7500 are exactly the same blender, but the 750 has 5 pre-set mixing functions (soups, smoothies, frozen desserts, puree and self-cleaning). The other difference is that the 750 has additional color choices in “Metal finish”.
The Vitamix 750 is the best blender choice of the Consumer Reports in its most recent blender test. The performance between the two models is the same, so it really matters if you want the preset functions and additional color choices.
Both models are excellent, but the 750 costs about 15% more to have the presets. See our Vitamix 750 assessment for more analysis.
7500 vs Blendtec Designer
The 7500 has a slightly more powerful engine than the Blendtec Designer blender, suitable for 37,000 RPM in contrast to the 28,000 RPM capacity of Blendtec.
The Blendtec Designer competes closely with Vitamix G-series blenders in comparative tests, but we have a slight preference for the Vitamix 7500 for overall performance and design. Checkout the current Blendtec Designer price here.
Vitamix 7500 – Frequently asked questions
Question: “Is there a way to get the container into the dishwasher?”
A: NO. Do not place the container in the dishwasher as it may warp. It also invalidates your warranty.
Question: “Can you grind meat with this blender?”
A: The 7500 can grind the meat easily, but removing all the pieces can be problematic without adding water and using the pulse function.
Question: “Does the 7500 store ice?”
A: Yes, the 7500 is excellent in crushing ice, especially because of the wide container. The Pro 750 (same blender as 7500) has the highest rating in the Consumer crushing test for ice cream.
Question: Do I have to consider a vitamix 7500 refurbished model?
A. The factory-refurbished models are “like new” and the 7500 refurbished will save you about $ 120.
